During weekdays, the hospital operates as a full-service general practice providing preventative, diagnostic, and medical care. On weekends, the focus shifts to urgent care, supporting the local community when access to veterinary services is limited.
The ideal candidate enjoys fast-paced medicine, is comfortable managing a diverse caseload, and values teamwork and clinical autonomy. Scheduling is flexible, with priority given to weekend coverage and the ability to tailor hours to your availability.

Responsibilities
Provide general practice and urgent care services to small animal patients
Manage a varied and fast-paced urgent care caseload on weekends
Perform examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff
Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
Candidate Profile
DVM / VMD or equivalent qualification
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
Comfortable in a GP and/or urgent care setting
Emergency or urgent care experience beneficial but not required
Open to new graduates and experienced veterinarians
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 DOE
