A well-established small animal veterinary practice in Greensboro, North Carolina is seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join their two-doctor team. The role allows veterinarians to practice across a wide spectrum of cases, from preventive care and wellness exams to complex surgical procedures and urgent care appointments, depending on their interests and expertise.

This full-service small animal hospital has been serving Greensboro and surrounding areas since 1986. While predominantly focused on dogs and cats, the hospital occasionally treats pocket pets, exotic animals, and birds.

Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to detect and manage disease or injuries
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results
Advise clients on preventive care and treatment options
Perform surgeries and prescribe medications as required
Provide counseling for end-of-life care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, state regulations, and hospital policies
Candidate Profile
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in North Carolina
Eligible to obtain DEA/BNDD certification
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional, courteous, and team-oriented demeanor
Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds independently; over 25 pounds with assistance
Collaborative, adaptable, and motivated to grow within a team environment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $115,000 – $130,000 per year
