Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions in companion animals
Develop and implement treatment plans while maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine
Provide preventative care services including vaccinations, wellness exams, and client education
Manage urgent care cases when needed
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding treatment options and ongoing care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care
Uphold AAHA standards and veterinary ethical guidelines
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited university
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Connecticut
Commitment to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine
