The successful candidate will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of specialists and emergency clinicians, managing complex cardiac cases and providing consultation support to referring veterinarians across the region.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage complex cardiovascular diseases in companion animals

Maintain accurate medical records and deliver clear treatment plans
Contribute to the continued development of cardiology services within the hospital
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be passionate about advanced veterinary cardiology and comfortable working in a high-level referral hospital environment.
Candidates should have:
DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
Board certification (DACVIM – Cardiology) or board eligibility / residency training in cardiology
Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Iowa
Strong diagnostic and clinical cardiology skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
A commitment to exceptional patient care and medical excellence
Both experienced veterinary cardiologists and recent residency graduates are encouraged to apply.
