About the Team

Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries

  • Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results

  • Advise clients on preventative care, treatment options, and holistic approaches

  • Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed

  • Provide guidance around end-of-life care

  • Maintain accurate patient medical records

  • Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, statutes, and policies

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited AVMA institution

  • Appropriate state licensure and eligibility for DEA/BNDD

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and client-focused

  • Interest in holistic care, herbal medicine, and acupuncture; Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) credential preferred but not required
