Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient exams and diagnostic work-ups
Deliver medical, surgical, and dental care to small animal patients
Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnostics, treatment plans, and outcomes
Maintain accurate, complete medical records
Prescribe medications and manage controlled substances in compliance with regulations
Collaborate with hospital leadership on daily priorities and workflow efficiency
Monitor hospitalized cases and participate in rounds when applicable

Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution
Active or eligible Alabama veterinary license
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
1+ years of clinical veterinary experience (newer graduates encouraged to apply)
Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $110,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience
Sign-on, retention, and relocation packages up to $75,000
