Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, and treat companion animals for illness or injury
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results
Advise clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and end-of-life options
Perform surgeries and prescribe medications as needed
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and policies
Collaborate effectively with the veterinary team to provide the highest standard of care
Candidate Profile
DVM degree from an accredited AVMA institution
Appropriate state licensure (Minnesota) and eligibility for DEA/BNDD
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, courteous presentation with clients and staff
Ability to lift and handle patients and equipment (up to 25 lbs independently, over 25 lbs with assistance)
Passion for providing compassionate care in a team-oriented environment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: USD $100,000 – $150,000 / year (negotiable based on experience)
$50,000 Sign-On Bonus
