About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for small animal patients. This role is perfect for veterinarians at any stage of their career—from new graduates to experienced professionals—looking for a supportive, balanced work environment with excellent resources and a focus on compassionate care. Hours consist of Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with weekends off.

About the Practice
Join a modern, well-equipped veterinary hospital serving companion animals across Eastern North Carolina. The facility features 5 exam rooms, 3 wet-dry tables, 2 surgery tables, 3 anesthesia machines, digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house IDEXX diagnostics, and a companion laser, all supported by paperless medical records using Cornerstone software.
The hospital provides full-service boarding and is appointment-based to optimize patient care and staff efficiency. Experienced veterinary technicians and administrative staff offer strong support, and after-hours emergencies are handled by local emergency hospitals.

Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals
Educate clients on preventative care and responsible pet ownership
Collaborate with a skilled veterinary technician team
Mentor or support student externs and colleagues, if desired
Participate in hospital initiatives to improve client experience and patient outcomes
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD from an accredited institution
Valid veterinary license in North Carolina
Passion for small animal medicine and client education
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Open to mentorship or collaborative practice depending on experience
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $115,000 to $140,000 per year
