Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals, diagnosing and managing illness or injuries
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results
Advise clients on preventive care, treatment options, and wellness plans
Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed
Provide compassionate end-of-life care
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, policies, and relevant regulations
Candidate Profile
DVM degree from an AVMA-accredited school
Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida
DEA/BNDD eligibility
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, positive, and collaborative demeanor
Able to lift up to 25 lbs independently and assist with heavier patients/equipment
