Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose illness and injury

  • Perform soft tissue surgery and routine medical procedures

  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory results

  • Advise clients on preventative care and treatment plans

  • Provide compassionate guidance for end-of-life care

  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

  • Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff

  • Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, regulations, and protocols

Candidate Profile

  • DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution

  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Texas

  • Eligibility to obtain DEA licensure

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to high standards of patient care and client service

  • Surgical confidence preferred, with support available

  • New graduates encouraged to apply
