Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose illness and injury
Perform soft tissue surgery and routine medical procedures
Utilize diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory results
Advise clients on preventative care and treatment plans
Provide compassionate guidance for end-of-life care
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, regulations, and protocols
Candidate Profile
DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Texas
Eligibility to obtain DEA licensure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to high standards of patient care and client service
Surgical confidence preferred, with support available

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $115,000 – $135,000 per year
