Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to detect and manage disease or injuries
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results
Advise clients on preventative care and treatment options
Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed (optional)
Provide guidance on end-of-life care
Maintain accurate medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, state regulations, and clinic policies
Candidate Profile
DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited school
Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida
Eligibility for DEA/BNDD licensure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, courteous, and team-oriented
Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted (more with help)
Passionate about high-quality medicine and client relationships
