Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat dogs and cats with care and precision

  • Perform surgeries and dental procedures, depending on preference and comfort level

  • Collaborate with clients on treatment plans, preventative care, and nutrition

  • Guide pet owners through end-of-life decisions with compassion

  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of veterinary care

  • Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, state regulations, and hospital protocols

Candidate Profile

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution

  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida

  • DEA/BNDD eligibility

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional, positive, and collaborative demeanor

  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs independently and assist with heavier patients or equipment

  • Ideal for both new graduates and experienced veterinarians seeking clinical autonomy in a supportive environment
