Responsibilities
Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for companion animals and exotic pets
Provide preventative care services including vaccinations, wellness exams, and client education
Perform soft tissue surgeries and advanced dentistry procedures
Utilize diagnostic equipment including ultrasound and digital radiography
Provide internal medicine care and manage urgent or emergency cases as needed
Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high standards of care
Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment options and ongoing patient care
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Alaska
Commitment to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine and ethical care
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to medicine
Interest in working with small animals and exotic species

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary – negotiable based on experience (ranging from $170k to $190k)

Full-time schedule preferred
Clinic hours: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Monthly Saturday rotation
