Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality preventive, medical, and surgical care to small animal patients

  • Perform thorough physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning

  • Utilise a structured, problem-based approach to case management

  • Carry out routine and complex surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and abdominal surgery

  • Perform routine and advanced dentistry, including radiograph interpretation and extractions

  • Maintain accurate, detailed medical records in line with clinical protocols

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and colleagues

  • Participate in clinical rounds and collaborative case discussions

About You

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina

  • Confident performing routine surgery, dentistry, and anaesthesia

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Professional, compassionate, and calm under pressure

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working as part of a team while maintaining clinical autonomy
