Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose and manage disease or injuries
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results
Advise clients on preventative care and treatment options
Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed
Provide guidance around end-of-life care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, policies, and relevant statutes
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Appropriate state licensure and eligibility for DEA/BNDD
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional, courteous, and team-oriented
Ability to lift patients and equipment as required
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 USD per year, negotiable based on experience
