About the Role
A well-established small animal general practice in Spring Hill, Florida is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, high-touch clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to practice personalized, relationship-driven medicine in a supportive environment with manageable daily caseloads, excellent staffing support, and strong leadership.
With an average of 8–15 patients per doctor per day, this position is ideal for veterinarians who value quality over quantity, enjoy client communication, and want the autonomy to practice medicine their way while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
About the Practice
Small Animal GP (dogs & cats only)
Average 8–15 appointments per doctor daily
Target 2:1 doctor-to-technician ratio
Case mix includes wellness, surgery, and dentistry
Well-equipped hospital with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house lab, and dental suite
Collaborative, teaching-focused, high-touch culture
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care to small animal patients
Manage wellness, preventive care, dentistry, and routine surgeries
Build long-term relationships through strong client education and communication
Collaborate closely with technicians, CSRs, and leadership
Contribute to extended service hours and occasional weekend appointment availability
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida
Experienced veterinarian comfortable working in a group setting or as a sole DVM
Passionate about patient care and long-term client relationships
Strong communicator who thrives in a supportive, team-oriented culture
