Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals, from routine wellness exams to advanced medical and surgical procedures
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect and interpret samples, and communicate findings clearly
Partner with clients to develop individualized care plans and guide treatment decisions
Provide preventive care, nutritional counseling, and wellness recommendations
Deliver compassionate end-of-life care and support when needed
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Uphold veterinary ethics, hospital standards, and state/federal regulations
Candidate Profile
DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida
DEA/BNDD eligibility
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about collaborative, compassionate patient care
Genuine desire for ongoing learning and professional growth
Able to lift up to 25 lbs independently (more with assistance)
