Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals, from routine wellness exams to advanced medical and surgical procedures

  • Operate diagnostic equipment, collect and interpret samples, and communicate findings clearly

  • Partner with clients to develop individualized care plans and guide treatment decisions

  • Provide preventive care, nutritional counseling, and wellness recommendations

  • Deliver compassionate end-of-life care and support when needed

  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

  • Uphold veterinary ethics, hospital standards, and state/federal regulations

Candidate Profile

  • DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution

  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida

  • DEA/BNDD eligibility

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passionate about collaborative, compassionate patient care

  • Genuine desire for ongoing learning and professional growth

  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs independently (more with assistance)

  • Ideal for both new graduates and experienced veterinarians seeking a supportive environment
