Responsibilities
Examine and treat patients to diagnose illness and injury
Perform routine and advanced medical and surgical procedures
Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory results
Provide preventative care guidance and treatment recommendations
Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans
Deliver compassionate end-of-life care and client support
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, regulations, and protocols
Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff
Candidate Profile
DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
Eligibility to obtain DEA licensure
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional, compassionate approach with clients and colleagues
Interest in small animal medicine; exotics experience welcomed but not required

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $115,000 – $135,000 per year
