Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage complex internal medicine cases, including:
Gastrointestinal, endocrine, immune-mediated, infectious, respiratory, and hematologic disorders
Perform and interpret advanced diagnostics
Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, compassionate client communication
Collaborate with emergency clinicians and hospital teams to ensure continuity of care
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for veterinarians and support staff
Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical protocols
Candidate Profile
DVM or equivalent from an accredited institution
Board-Certified (DACVIM) or Residency-Trained in Internal Medicine
Active California veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Professionalism, ethics, and commitment to clinical excellence
Passion for mentoring and supporting a team-oriented work environment
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $250,000 – $300,000
