A leading 24/7 specialty and emergency referral hospital in Berkeley, California is seeking a Veterinary Medical Oncologist (DACVIM-Oncology or residency-trained/practice-limited) to join an established and growing oncology service.
This opportunity offers an immediate, busy caseload, advanced oncology facilities, and strong emergency support, allowing specialists to focus fully on high-level medical oncology while maintaining excellent work–life balance.

Responsibilities
Provide advanced medical oncology consultations and treatment plans
Diagnose and manage complex oncologic cases
Administer and oversee chemotherapy protocols in a dedicated oncology suite
Collaborate with emergency doctors and specialty colleagues
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and referring veterinarians
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
Contribute to continued growth and excellence of oncology services
Candidate Profile
DACVIM (Oncology) or residency-trained/practice-limited Medical Oncologist
Eligible for California veterinary licensure
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Interest in practicing within a busy, multi-specialty referral environment
Commitment to high-quality medicine and ongoing professional development
