Responsibilities
Lead the development and growth of a specialized veterinary surgery department
Perform advanced surgical procedures for companion animals
Collaborate with general practice veterinarians on surgical case management
Develop surgical protocols, workflows, and clinical standards
Mentor and guide veterinary team members within the surgical service
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding surgical procedures, treatment plans, and outcomes
Maintain detailed patient medical records and surgical documentation
Uphold the highest standards of veterinary medicine and patient safety
Candidate Profile
Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon (DACVS) or Residency-Trained Veterinary Surgeon
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Alaska

Base salary up to $300,000
