About the Role
A state-of-the-art emergency and specialty veterinary hospital in Doral, Florida is seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian to join its expanding surgical service. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to practice advanced soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic surgery in a collaborative, referral-level environment.

About the Practice
This is a modern emergency and specialty referral hospital operating from a newly built ~8,000 sq. ft. facility, designed to support university-level standards of care. The hospital integrates emergency, specialty, and advanced supportive services to provide comprehensive treatment for complex cases.
The practice is fully equipped with:
Multiple advanced surgical suites
Digital radiography and ultrasound
Rehabilitation and therapy services
Oncology support including chemotherapy and immunotherapy
Dedicated isolation ward
Highly skilled technicians and support staff
A collaborative, multidisciplinary culture ensures surgeons are supported clinically and professionally.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced surgical procedures including soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic surgery
Collaborate with emergency clinicians and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Provide perioperative care and ensure continuity of patient outcomes
Mentor and support veterinary team members as needed
Participate in continuing education and clinical advancement
Uphold high standards of surgical excellence and patient care
Candidate Profile
Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon (DACVS) or Residency-Trained / Board-Eligible Veterinarian
DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Florida
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented, compassionate, and committed to high-quality specialty medicine
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive specialty compensation (DOE) - $175,000 to $195,000
