Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac care for small animals

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to manage complex cases across specialties

  • Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment including echocardiography, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and ultrasonography

  • Develop and communicate diagnostic and treatment plans to clients

  • Mentor and collaborate with veterinary staff and support teams

  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

  • Participate in continuing education and contribute to hospital training programs

Candidate Profile

  • DVM/VMD or equivalent degree

  • Board-certified or residency-trained in cardiology

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina

  • Experienced in performing advanced cardiac diagnostics and interventions

  • Team-oriented, empathetic, and committed to excellence in patient care

  • Eager to participate in mentorship, teaching, and professional development
