Responsibilities
Deliver emergency and urgent medical and surgical care for small animals
Manage a diverse and fast-paced emergency caseload
Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during critical situations
Collaborate with technicians, support staff, and leadership to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records
Participate in mentorship, training, and continued professional development
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited university
Active North Carolina veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
Strong interest or experience in emergency and critical care medicine
Confident decision-maker with excellent communication skills
Team-oriented, compassionate, and adaptable in high-pressure environments
Commitment to practicing high-quality medicine with integrity and empathy
Compensation & Benefits
