Responsibilities
Provide immediate, high-quality emergency and critical care to patients
Perform triage, diagnostics, and rapid treatment planning
Conduct emergency surgeries and advanced procedures, including endoscopy
Interpret diagnostics such as radiographs, ultrasound, and laboratory results
Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and estimates
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate clients on aftercare and preventative measures
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
Eligible for or holding a Kansas veterinary license
Strong interest or experience in emergency and critical care medicine
Comfortable with emergency surgery and complex case management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
