About the Practice
This full-service veterinary hospital operates in a recently remodeled 6,000 sqft facility with state-of-the-art diagnostics, including multiple ultrasound machines, in-house cytology, and digital X-ray. Surgery and dental suites are fully equipped, and the hospital maintains a 2:1 DVM-to-tech ratio to provide exceptional support.
The team consists of four doctors—one full-time and experienced part-time veterinarians—working collaboratively to deliver top-tier patient care. Responsibilities
Deliver wellness, preventive care, and medical treatments for dogs and cats
Perform general surgery and dental procedures
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including ultrasound, X-ray, and cytology
Educate clients on preventative care and treatment plans
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, policies, and regulations
Contribute to a culture of teamwork, mentorship, and continuous learning
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Active and in-good-standing Texas veterinary licensure
Experience in companion animal wellness, preventive care, and client communication
Skilled or interested in general surgery, with a commitment to advancing surgical expertise
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passionate about providing exceptional animal care and mentoring colleagues
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-quality practice environment
