Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient exams and diagnostic work-ups
Provide medical, surgical, and dental care to small animal patients
Educate clients and clearly communicate treatment plans and outcomes
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Prescribe medications and manage controlled substances in compliance with regulations
Collaborate with hospital leadership on weekly priorities and workflow efficiency
Monitor hospitalized cases and participate in rounds when applicable
Promote teamwork, staff efficiency, and a positive hospital culture
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution
Active or eligible veterinary license in Alabama
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
1+ years of clinical veterinary experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills
Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $100,000–$140,000, based on experience
Sign-on, retention, and relocation packages up to $100,000
