About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Veterinarian in Greenville, SC to take a medical leadership role in a collaborative, fear-free veterinary hospital. The Lead Veterinarian oversees patient care, guides the associate veterinarian, and partners with management to ensure operational and medical excellence. This position is ideal for experienced veterinarians with leadership experience or motivated veterinarians aiming to grow into a leadership role.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership in all medical and operational aspects of the hospital
Serve as the veterinarian of record for hospital permits and licenses
Support staff development through internal training programs
Promote the human-animal bond with exceptional client experiences
Manage multiple patients and varying priorities effectively
Partner with Practice Manager to set medical standards, supervise client communication, and address medical questions or concerns
Collaborate with Regional Medical Director to establish medical guidelines and support staff training
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an AVMA-accredited college (or ECFVG/PAVE certified)
Active veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure in South Carolina
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to oversee clinical operations while practicing high-quality veterinary medicine
Open to veterinarians aiming for a leadership career or with prior experience in veterinary management
Compensation & Benefits
Flexible compensation package: Salary only or ProSal (Ranging from $145k to $165k)
