We are seeking a dedicated Lead Veterinarian to join a state-of-the-art, multi-doctor small animal practice in Houston, TX. About the Practice
Our hospital is a modern 5,500 sq. ft. facility equipped to deliver the highest standard of care:
Double surgical suite with laminar flow and dedicated A/C
Advanced diagnostics: digital radiography, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and in-house lab
Dedicated dental suite with Dentalaire and digital dental radiography
Peaceful end-of-life suite with private entrance
Feline-only entrance and exam rooms
Eight fully equipped exam rooms with seamless tech integration

Responsibilities
Lead clinical decision-making across a multi-doctor team
Mentor and support veterinary team members, including new graduates
Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care
Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, and responsible pet ownership
Maintain accurate medical records and foster strong client relationships
Participate in structured professional development and practice growth initiatives
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD from an accredited institution
Valid veterinary license in Texas
Clinical experience with small animals, surgical experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills
Passion for small animal medicine, professional growth, and team collaboration
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary ($150,000 – $200,000, DOE)
