We are seeking a dedicated Lead Veterinarian to join a state-of-the-art, multi-doctor small animal practice in Houston, TX. About the Practice

Our hospital is a modern 5,500 sq. ft. facility equipped to deliver the highest standard of care:

  • Double surgical suite with laminar flow and dedicated A/C

  • Advanced diagnostics: digital radiography, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and in-house lab

  • Dedicated dental suite with Dentalaire and digital dental radiography

Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical decision-making across a multi-doctor team

  • Mentor and support veterinary team members, including new graduates

  • Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care

  • Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, and responsible pet ownership

  • Maintain accurate medical records and foster strong client relationships

  • Participate in structured professional development and practice growth initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD from an accredited institution

  • Valid veterinary license in Texas

  • Clinical experience with small animals, surgical experience preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills

  • Passion for small animal medicine, professional growth, and team collaboration
