Responsibilities
As Lead Veterinarian, you will:
Establish and maintain a positive, collaborative culture in a new hospital
Lead medical operations and mentor associate veterinarians and support staff
Build trusted relationships with clients and the local community
Perform exams, surgeries, and a variety of small animal procedures
Contribute to hospital medical policies and protocol development
Partner with operations leadership to drive team performance and hospital success
Candidate Profile
We are seeking candidates who:
Hold a DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Are licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida
Have 3+ years of clinical experience (preferred)
Demonstrate a strong desire to lead, mentor, and collaborate
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
Have a growth mindset and passion for delivering exceptional patient care
