Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injury
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results
Advise clients on preventative care and treatment options
Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed
Provide guidance on end-of-life care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Lead, mentor, and manage the veterinary team to ensure medical quality
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, policies, and relevant statutes
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Appropriate state licensure and eligibility for DEA/BNDD
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experienced in small animal medicine with leadership potential
Team-oriented, confident in decision-making, and committed to high-quality care
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $120,000 – $145,000 USD per year
