This well-established small animal clinic specializes in providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats. The practice emphasizes a steady-paced, supportive work environment with a 1:2:2 doctor-to-tech/assistant ratio, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient care while leveraging a highly skilled support team.

Responsibilities
Lead clinical care while providing medical and non-medical leadership
Mentor and support associate veterinarians and staff
Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose and manage disease or injury
Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results
Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed
Provide guidance on end-of-life care for pets
Maintain accurate medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, policies, and regulations
Guide practice direction, improve medical standards, and monitor financial performance
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD from an accredited AVMA institution
Appropriate state licensure and eligibility for DEA/BNDD
Strong leadership and communication skills
Professional, courteous, and collaborative with staff and clients
Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds independently; over 25 pounds with assistance
Passionate about mentorship, growth, and delivering high-quality medicine
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $130,000–$150,000/year (negotiable based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $50,000
