Responsibilities

  • Provide medical leadership and strategic direction for the hospital’s veterinary team

  • Support clinical recruiting, engagement, and retention initiatives

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians and partner clinics

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced veterinarian who combines strong clinical expertise with leadership capability and a collaborative mindset.

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for licensure in Iowa

  • Several years of clinical veterinary experience, ideally in emergency or specialty settings
