Responsibilities
Provide medical leadership and mentorship to associate veterinarians
Foster a positive, collaborative team environment
Partner with leadership to manage operations, staff development, and regulatory compliance
Lead team meetings, conduct performance reviews, and support professional growth
Develop and monitor medical protocols and best practices
Collaborate with regional leadership to support strategic planning and practice vision
Promote a culture of gold-standard veterinary medicine and financial sustainability
Remain actively involved in clinical practice
Candidate Profile
DVM, VMD, or equivalent with active Texas veterinary license
Ideally 5+ years of clinical experience
Demonstrated leadership experience in a veterinary setting preferred
Strong emotional intelligence and people-management skills
Commitment to ethical, high-quality veterinary medicine
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to delegate effectively and drive team performance

Competitive leadership salary with sign-on and retention bonuses ($130,000 to $150,000)
