About the Role
Our client, a respected independent veterinary practice in the Fairbanks region, is seeking a dedicated Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their team. This position offers true flexibility, hours and scheduling can be customized to suit each candidate’s lifestyle and professional goals. Full-time, part-time, and individualized schedules are all available.
You will manage a varied caseload across both small and large animal patients, supported by experienced technicians, well-maintained equipment, and a collaborative medical team.

Responsibilities

Provide medical, surgical, and preventative care to a diverse mixed animal caseload

Conduct exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, and client education

Participate in an equitable on-call rotation—with flexibility based on individual scheduling needs

Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinical best practices

Work collaboratively with technicians and fellow veterinarians to deliver exceptional patient care
About You

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)

Comfortable working with both large and small animal species

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach

Adaptable, team-oriented, and open to a flexible work structure
