Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency and critical care to small animal patients
Perform emergency diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures as required
Stabilise and manage critical cases with confidence and compassion
Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during high-stress situations
Work collaboratively with technicians and support staff
Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
Candidate Profile
DVM / VMD or equivalent qualification
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
Emergency experience preferred but not required
General practitioners and new graduates welcome with structured mentorship
Comfortable working overnight shifts and occasional weekends
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and emotional resilience
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $110,000–$160,000+ DOE
