Role Overview
The Accounts and Admin Officer is responsible for managing financial processes and supporting day-to-day administrative operations. This role ensures smooth, accurate, and efficient office and accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties
Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in line with regulatory standards
Administrative Duties
Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies and equipment management
Maintain digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval
Assist with HR activities, including payroll processing and employee record management
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail
Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and efficient
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in accounting and administrative roles
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and high accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
