Role Overview

The Accounts and Admin Officer is responsible for managing financial processes and supporting day-to-day administrative operations. This role ensures smooth, accurate, and efficient office and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in line with regulatory standards

Administrative Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies and equipment management

  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval

  • Assist with HR activities, including payroll processing and employee record management

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements

  • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail

  • Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and efficient

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in accounting and administrative roles

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Attention to detail and high accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
