Role Overview – Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior
The Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior role is perfect for a part-qualified accountant seeking experience across both accounts and audit. Responsibilities include:
Assisting in planning and executing audit assignments for a range of clients
Preparing statutory accounts in compliance with FRS 102 and FRS 105
Drafting corporation tax computations and returns
Supporting the audit team in fieldwork and liaising with clients
Using software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks for bookkeeping and accounts preparation
Collaborating with colleagues to meet client deadlines and expectations
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK-based accountancy practice
Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, or AAT Level 4 qualified
Confident in preparing accounts and basic tax computations
Competent with accounting software: Sage, Xero, QuickBooks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
Desirable:
Experience working on audit assignments
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Proactive approach to learning and development
