Role Overview
The Accounts Assistant will work closely with the Senior team to produce accounts, learn the full accounts production process, and eventually manage a portfolio of clients under supervision. This role is ideal for candidates with 2+ years’ practice experience looking to progress in accountancy.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Senior team in producing accounts
Work across different stages of the accounts production process, learning from start to finish
Manage a portfolio of clients under supervision
Support studies towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualifications
Handle client queries and bookkeeping tasks
Prepare VAT and other compliance work as required
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in practice
Qualified AAT 3 or 4, working towards full qualification
Experience in accounts production and VAT
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Motivated and proactive approach to learning
