Key Responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant, you will:

  • Prepare Sole Trader, Partnership, and Limited Company accounts

  • Prepare Corporation Tax and VAT returns

  • Prepare management accounts and financial reports

  • Support senior staff in delivering accurate, timely client accounting services

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in accounting processes and client service

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a practice environment

  • Completion or near-completion of AAT Level 4

  • Experience with Xero and QuickBooks

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and client service abilities

  • Self-motivated and keen to develop professionally within a supportive team
