Accounts Assistant Manager
Location: Leeds
Hours: Full time
Salary: £43,000 - £53,000

Role Overview:
-
Manage a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
-
Oversee preparation and review of statutory accounts (FRS 102) and management accounts
-
Lead small teams on assignments and support development of junior staff
-
Deliver strategic financial insight and identify opportunities for client support
-
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
-
Engage directly with clients, providing proactive communication and advisory support
Key Requirements:
-
ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accountancy practice
-
Proven experience managing client portfolios and supervising staff
-
Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards
-
Competent with cloud-based systems (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
-
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
