About the Role
They are seeking a qualified AAT or experienced bookkeeper to manage all aspects of client bookkeeping. You will work closely with your own portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
Responsibilities:
Maintain client accounts, including bank reconciliations, sales & purchase ledgers, and other control accounts
Prepare and manage monthly bookkeeping tasks, including VAT returns and management accounts
Work independently to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Occasionally visit client premises as required
Provide excellent communication and support to clients
Required Skills and Experience:
AAT qualified or equivalent bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Xero, Sage, and Excel
Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and precision in processing
