Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for SME clients

Prepare and submit VAT returns

Assist with management accounts and year-end accounts

Support statutory compliance and deadlines

Work with cloud accounting software, including Xero

Assist with basic tax compliance work

Communicate proactively with clients

Support senior accountants on advisory projects

Experience and Qualifications Required
- Experience in an accountancy practice role
- Ideally be AAT qualified
