Role Overview

As an Accounts Manager, you will manage a portfolio of non-audit clients while leading and developing members of the accounts team. You will work closely with partners and directors to ensure high-quality service delivery and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and report directly to partners and directors

  • Review statutory year-end accounts and confirm arrangements with clients

  • Lead and mentor staff on assignments, providing on-the-job training

  • Identify and resolve account issues in conjunction with clients and partners

  • Attend and present at accounts planning and closing meetings

  • Participate in recruitment and business development activities

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified

  • Proven experience managing non-audit clients

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and client management skills

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

  • Experience with family and owner-managed businesses is advantageous
