A growing, forward-thinking accountancy practice in Wilmslow is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to lead a client portfolio, manage staff, and progress to Director/Shareholder level for the right candidate.
Salary & Benefits:
£53,000 – £65,000 per year
Full-time, permanent position
25 days annual leave, plus:
One extra day off for birthdays
Three additional days between Christmas and New Year
One extra day for every two years of service (capped at 30 days)

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of staff and oversee workflow
Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients
Review and prepare annual accounts and corporation tax returns
Produce detailed management accounts in Excel
Train and mentor junior staff
Participate in business development and client onboarding (desirable)
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a practice environment
Proven experience in managing client relationships
Proficient in preparing year-end accounts
AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified
Positive, proactive attitude and professional presentation
Familiarity with Iris software advantageous
