Key Responsibilities
As an Accounts Semi Senior / Trainee Accountant, you will:
Prepare VAT returns and assist clients with bookkeeping and management information
Review VAT returns prepared by junior team members
Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Draft corporation and income tax computations
Work closely with senior colleagues to deliver accurate and timely client services
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a practice environment
Strong IT skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
Experience with accounting software such as Digita Suite, SAGE, QuickBooks, Xero, Virtual Cabinet, DEXT, AutoEntry preferred
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, motivated, and able to meet deadlines in a busy practice environment
