About the Role – Accounts Senior

The Accounts Senior will act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing all accounts compliance and other service requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring completion of client accounts tasks and maintaining effective team workflow

  • Preparation of accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs, and sole traders, including tax returns and computations

  • Reviewing VAT returns and monitoring work in progress (WiP)

  • Tracking progress and maintaining communication with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Conducting research and resolving complex accounting issues

  • Administering client account files and setting up file reviews

  • Reviewing work of Accounts Assistants where applicable and supporting other service lines

  • Preparing bills and monitoring WiP for managers and above as required

About You

  • ACA/ACCA/AAT part-qualified or equivalent practice experience

  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing requirements

  • Curious, enquiring mindset with strong problem-solving skills

  • Team player capable of working independently when needed
