About the Role – Accounts Senior
The Accounts Senior will act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing all accounts compliance and other service requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring completion of client accounts tasks and maintaining effective team workflow
Preparation of accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs, and sole traders, including tax returns and computations
Reviewing VAT returns and monitoring work in progress (WiP)
Tracking progress and maintaining communication with clients and internal stakeholders
Conducting research and resolving complex accounting issues
Administering client account files and setting up file reviews
Reviewing work of Accounts Assistants where applicable and supporting other service lines
Preparing bills and monitoring WiP for managers and above as required
About You
ACA/ACCA/AAT part-qualified or equivalent practice experience
Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing requirements
Curious, enquiring mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Team player capable of working independently when needed
