A well-established multi-site accountancy practice in Chesterfield is seeking a qualified Accounts Senior to join its growing Accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant looking to step into a client-facing, supervisory role with clear progression opportunities.
Salary: circa £37,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Hours: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities
As an Accounts Senior, your role will include:
Producing final accounts for clients
Reviewing and finalising accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Acting as the main point of contact for client queries
Supporting and supervising junior team members, reviewing work for accuracy and compliance
Maintaining strong ongoing client relationships
Assisting with business development and new client acquisition
Candidate Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified (or strong finalist considered)
Minimum 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
Experience reviewing work and supervising junior staff
Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and compliance
Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
