Accounts Supervisor
Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Salary: £42,000 - £47,000
Duties
As an Accounts Supervisor, you will assist the team in supporting the growth of the firm. Key responsibilities include:
Preparation of accounts and VAT returns for Sole Traders, Companies, and Partnerships
Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns
Client management accounting (Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks knowledge preferred but not essential)
Accurate data entry and updating of records
Processing journals and finalising accounts
Managing accounts work by other team members, including outsourced providers
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (continuing studies not required)
AAT Level 4
Qualified by experience
Educated to BTEC or A-Level standard
Accounts experience in a practice environment
IT competence and proficiency in accounting software
Ability to work on own initiative and be flexible
Strong prioritisation skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Remuneration depends on experience and qualifications

Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to 1 week’s salary
