Assistant Client Manager

Hours: Full time
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000

Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients across various sectors
Prepare and review statutory accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations
Provide tailored financial advice to support clients' business goals
Maintain strong, proactive client relationships
Support the delivery of audit and assurance services (if applicable)
Mentor and assist junior team members in their development
Liaise with HMRC and other relevant authorities on client matters
Candidate Requirements
ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE
Proven experience in an accountancy practice setting
Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Commercial awareness and ability to identify value-added opportunities
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
